Course Learning Objectives/Outcomes

By the end of the course, the Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Social Worker or Psychologist will be able to:
-Explain what is important to understand when analyzing violent extremism.
-Explain a complex process that has been shown to vary by the extremist ideologies individuals embrace, the time periods in which they radicalize, the groups or movements they join, and individuals’ own characteristics and experiences.
-Name the Potential Risk Factors Associated With Engaging or Attempting to Engage in Terrorism Among Lone-Actor Terrorists in the U.S.
